but if liberty is a rightthen ipso facto... Anyone forcing me to buy health insurance is blowing my right to liberty out their ass.-_- I don't want health insurance. It's my right to NOT have it. And i don't want to have to pay for anyone else to have it either.

How come free market forces are not bringing costs down?

What is said a 1:37 is exactly what has happened in Canada. The Govmt-run healtcare has became so big that they've made private comapanies less efficient. They're more expensive and don't have as much as facilities as the govt'-run healthcare. In fact, for a physician, it's kinda better going to work to a govt'-run hospital, since salary is higher (Which makes the universal system even better). Private companies still exist though, for those who aren't able to wait minutes/days.

Whoever can guarantee every citizen healthcare when in need of it, should also be the one providing the healthcare. Doesnt that make sense? Greetings from Sweden, hope the US figures this sooner or later.

i really have difficulties understanding these "arguments"they say "government cant run anything, just look at the post office" and then the same guys are on other videos parading how their military is the greatest in the world...

@pilottim79 You are correct on the emergency care stat. but wrong on cure rates as well a bit off on the Canada thing. We do have the best emergency system by far but we are the highest in premature deaths both in the young and old. The cancer test is a bit confusing. Canada has cancer screenings as part of routine checkups the same as we do. They run the same tests at the same ages and does a few we do not. |
